Entrepreneur, innovator or just an ordinary person with a very smart idea?

No matter what you call yourself, you should apply to the Startup Program if you have: 

• A business idea with potential. You believe you have a solution to a problem that customers are willing to pay for.
• The resilience required to find out if you are right.

The Startup Program gives you the opportunity to test your business idea for three months. Together with business developers, experts and other participants, you will find out if the idea is worth investing in further. We use a proven methodology and regardless of the outcome, you get lessons and insights for life. Or the next business idea.

About the program

For three months and seven workshops, we help you find out (and twist and turn):

• Does my business idea solve a problem for enough people and does it have commercial potential?
• How do I present the idea in the best way for different contexts?
• How do I ensure that the idea has a positive impact on society and is sustainable?

As a cherry on the top, you will be part of our network with access to investors, future customers, talent and partners. We know many people who want nothing more than to give startups a momentum.

You don't need to have started a company or have a team in place, but that should be your ambition. Your application is processed with complete confidentiality. The application takes about 10 minutes.

Location: Umeå. If you live in Västbotten but lack the opportunity to participate on site, we can offer a digital solution.

For us, it's important to adapt the layout of the program based on what is best for you and the other participants. Therefore, the plan may be adjusted if we come to the conclusion that there is a smarter approach that works better based on the group composition.
